Oversees the hiring, training, and development of CRC staff as well as the development and implementation of programming to ensure that Safe Harbor Ohio is providing a safe, nurturing and constructive environment for a group of children housed in a Christian environment. Provides oversight to all CRC staff through the direct supervision of the CRC COPS Team (as defined above) and other staff.
Serves as a member of the Safe Harbor Executive Team, providing leadership and oversight to Safe Harbor, as needed. Serves as a strategic partner with members of the executive team and Safe Harbor departments, taking a consultative approach to Safe Harbor leadership.
Residential Director
SpringVale Health Centers, Inc. is seeking a passionate, authentic, and motivated individual to provide trauma-informed behavioral health therapy/counseling at Safe Harbor Ohio in Holmes County.
SVHC is looking for a therapist with specialization in Trauma Informed Therapies and Trauma-Specific Interventions such as EMDR, brainspotting, TF-CBT, ACT, Somatic Experiencing, and more. The therapist will ensure the systematic provision of a high-quality trauma service to individuals which will include female adolescents who have experienced sex trafficking.
Trauma-Informed Care Therapist
Provide supervision and management of assigned girls in the cottages. They teach and model healthy relationships while providing structure and care. Daily activities could range from helping youth prepare for and engage in daily educational and therapeutic activities as well as offering guidance and redirection. It also includes participating in recreational fun, arts and crafts, mealtimes, and more.
Treatment Specialist - 2nd Shift
Provide supervision and management of assigned girls in the cottages. They teach and model healthy relationships while providing structure and care. Nightly duties include monitoring youth hourly, deep cleaning of the cottage and preparing breakfast for girls in the morning.
Treatment Specialist - 3rd Shift/Overnight
This role is vital to the operations of Safe Harbor Ohio, as we will rely upon security officers for the protection, safeguarding, and the security of residents, staff, visitors, and buildings on our grounds.
Security Officer - Full Time
Safe Harbor Ohio and the Christian Children’s Home of Ohio have partnered together to provide restorative care for child survivors of sex trafficking. This means that Safe Harbor Ohio will be operating under the licensing umbrella of the Christian Children’s Home of Ohio. Our partnership will remain in place until we are ready to operate independently.
While we have partnered with licensing, we are separate entities; meaning our financial structures are separate.
CCHO is providing exceptional guidance and support. They will be vital in the hiring process and training of Safe Harbor Ohio staff.
